4 P's ( Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program)

Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4 P's) is the Philippine conditional cash transfer program that aims to improve quality of life of the less fortunate family/families and end the cycle of poverty by investing a human capital. It is a program that leads by the DSWD Agency (Department of Social Welfare and Development) together with the DepED (Department of Education) and also DOH (Department of Health). This is a partnership between the two government agencies that aims to concoct jobs for people who are the beneficiaries of Aquino's Administration. 4 P's is also a social development strategy of the government that intend a cash grants to those people who can't able to support/avail the needs of their family or what we call the Psychological needs of a person which is shelter, education and etc.

4 P's is a way of improving one's health, nutrition and education of children ages 0-14 years old and through this program it contributed a huge aid to one's country especially to the Filipino family who suffered a lot  in poverty and by this also people who attempt to do a crime just to raise their families will no longer do those evil thing. We all know that in every item we made  no matter how good the contribution that we get is there will always be a negative side or what we commonly called as the disadvantages and the possible disadvantages is that those people who benefited a lot in this program they might be irresponsible in raising their families with their own hands and feet they will simply wait for the blessings that come from the government and instead of working hard for you to sustain the needs and wants of your family you will find it very easy because there's a government who catch you in terms of money.

4Ps issues

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The Cordillera office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) here recently clarified issues raised against the list of beneficiaries of the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) who were reported to be not actually poor, saying that the determination of the deserving families passes through stringent screening processes although admitting there are still loopholes in the process.
Based on the agency’s report to Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan, only 28 out of the 80 reported rich beneficiaries were found to be financially capable while the rest were delisted due to other reasons such as transferring outside the city, no dependents below 14 years old or have already been a beneficiary of the program in the previous years.
The program, however, has been just criticized as a massive dole-out program by newspaper columnist Amado Doronila. The increase in the program's funding, announced in August 2009, was also seen as a cover-up in light of the Le Cirque controversy by Bayan Partylist. There was also the issue of the program not reaching some provinces, as complained by Tawi-Tawi Rep. Nur Jaafar. DSWD Secretary Esperanza Cabral defends the program against this allegations by saying that the 4Ps program was actually modeled after other conditional cash transfer programs of countries like Brazil and Mexico. According to Cabral, the Brazilian program took 10 years for the government to see concrete long-term effects.

This Program truly help  those needy Filipino people, or this is the way of the government to cover up there irresponsible doing ?many issues tells that this program is not good enough implementing because of lacking of knowledge that’s why many problems that they encounter now. Also the agency appoint to this program is not ready to implement it. As what I saw on the television a documentary report about this 4p’s it stated there, that not all the poor Filipino gives the chance to benefit this program those very far provinces. But why those people who are in a good conditions of living had a chance to avail this benefit?  It is unfair to those people who need it so much.
Because of lack of knowledge that’s why this thing is happened and also the government agency who appoint to this program is not enough knowledge to implement it well. If this Program implementing well, those needy people will be happy having  this benefits because we know they help this so much.
